Blueberry Buttermilk Muffins

Blueberry buttermilk muffins are a perfect recipe for your fresh blueberries this summer. Tender and fluffy, with a crisp sugary top, these muffins are even better than your favorite bakery.


– 2 cups all-purpose flour – ½ teaspoon baking soda – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ½ teaspoon salt – 2 eggs – ¾ cup buttermilk – ½ cup unsalted butter melted – 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract – ¾ cup white sugar – ¼ cup light brown sugar packed – 1 cup fresh blueberries – 2 tablespoons Turbinado sugar

Step 1

Mix all dry ingredients together. 

Step 2

Mix all wet ingredients together.

Step 3

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.

Step 4

Stir well to combine the batter.

Step 5

Fold in fresh blueberries.

Step 6

Scoop batter into lined muffin tin.

Step 7

Sprinkle with more blueberries and coarse sugar.

Step 8

Bake at 350 degrees F until a toothpick inserted in the muffin comes out clean.
