Maple Walnut Granola

This homemade maple walnut granola is a delicious staple. Lightly sweetened and crispy, it’s a quick and easy recipe that will have you looking forward to breakfast all week long.


– 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats – 1 cup walnut halves – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon – 3 tablespoons coconut oil – 1/4 cup maple syrup – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1

Gather the ingredients. 

Step 2

Stir together the oats, walnuts and spices.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, combine the oil, vanilla and syrup.

Step 4

Stir the wet ingredients into the dry until evenly coated.

Step 5

Press the oats into a parchment lined sheet pan.

Step 6

Bake at 350 degrees F until edges are just golden brown.

Step 7

Rest undisturbed for 1 hour, then add mix-ins.
