Baked Brie with Pears and Prosciutto

Baked brie with pears and prosciutto is the perfect appetizer for  the holiday season. Delicious and simple, this recipe will become your  signature party dish.


For the pear sauce – 1 bartlett pear peeled and diced – 2 teaspoons water – 1 teaspoon honey – ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract For the brie – 8 ounces brie cheese – 4 slices prosciutto – 1 bartlett pear thinly sliced – ¼ cup pomegranate seeds – 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Step 1

Gather the  ingredients.

Step 2

Add 1 peeled and diced pear, honey and water to a saucepan.

Step 3

Simmer over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, until pear is very soft.

Step 4

Blend pear until smooth and creamy.

Step 5

Bake brie and prosciutto on a parchment-lined pan at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.

Step 6

Carefully move brie to a serving platter and top with pear sauce.

Step 7

Crumble prosciutto on top of pear sauce.

Step 8

Add thinly sliced ripe pear. 

Step 9

Garnish with pomegranate seeds and rosemary

Step 10

Serve immediately  and enjoy!
