Pesto Meatballs

Chicken pesto meatballs are a delicious summer dinner. Lean ground chicken is mixed with fresh basil pesto and panko breadcrumbs for moist, tender meatballs that your whole family will love.


– 1 pound ground chicken – ½ small white onion diced – 1 teaspoon kosher salt – ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning – ⅓ cup Panko breadcrumbs – ⅓ cup prepared basil pesto – 1 egg – 2 tablespoons milk

Step 1

Gather the ingredients

Step 2

Mix the ground meat, onion and seasonings.

Step 3

Add the pesto, bread crumbs, egg and milk.

Step 4

Mix it all together until well combined.

Step 5

Roll the meatball mixture into tight balls. 

Step 6

Bake meatballs at 425 degrees F for 12-15 min. Toss with pesto sauce and your favorite pasta.
