Sautéed BBQ Chickpeas

These easy sauteed chickpeas are a perfect healthy snack. Full of incredible flavor, made from pantry staples, and ready in only 10  minutes, what more could you want?


– 1 15.5 ounce can chickpeas – 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil – 1 teaspoon packed brown sugar – ½ teaspoon smoked paprika – ½ teaspoon kosher salt – ½ teaspoon garlic powder – ¼ teaspoon chili powder

Step 1

Gather the ingredients.

Step 2

Pan fry rinsed and dried chickpeas in olive oil for 7-8 min, until golden.

Step 3

Add seasoning and stir well to coat all chickpeas.

Step 4

Serve alone as a delicious and healthy snack!

Or atop a salad for some added protein.  Enjoy!
